Why I Built This
I've tracked my workouts using spreadsheets for years — plus Garmin for training data and MyFitnessPal for food. I’ve always been someone who learns by seeing patterns, so tracking was the only way I could figure out what was working (and what wasn’t).

📊 Before — my spreadsheets
When progress stalled or injuries popped up, I’d paste my training logs into ChatGPT and ask it to help me make sense of the data. It actually worked — I got new ideas and better adjustments. But it was clunky: copying back and forth between spreadsheets, tools, and videos every week.
That messy process is what inspired me to build Roses & Lumber. Instead of spreadsheets + ChatGPT + video notes scattered everywhere, I wanted one place where it all comes together.

🚀 After — Roses & Lumber App
Here’s what the app does:
- Builds personalized programs (power, hypertrophy, endurance — your choice)
- Lets you log every set (including video)
- Shows your history for each movement (like a spreadsheet, but smarter)
- Gives post-workout analysis and tweaks your plan based on progress
- Helps you actually see whether what you're doing is working
I built it because I was surprised nothing like it existed — and I figured I couldn’t be the only one feeling that gap.
If you track your workouts (or want to start) and lift consistently, I’d love for you to try it out. The app is in closed testing right now:
- Android → Sign up for Early Access , and I’ll add your email so you can download it from the Play Store.
- iPhone (iOS) → You can grab it directly from TestFlight.
There’s no paid tier yet — I just want feedback from people who actually care about progress.
